Roma, 4 luglio 2024 - La Fondazione Don Luigi Di Liegro ha vissuto una giornata straordinaria nella sede di via Ostiense a Roma. Si è infatti tenuta la Festa di Fine Anno dei laboratori di Arteterapia, un momento di celebrazione per i successi e i traguardi raggiunti dai partecipanti ai corsi della Fondazione.
Questo evento è stato parte integrante della seconda edizione di Felicittà 2024, una manifestazione promossa dall'Assessorato al Patrimonio di Roma Capitale, che ha visto 19 spazi culturali aperti al pubblico dalle 18 alle 24.
La serata è stata ulteriormente impreziosita dalla presenza del sindaco di Roma, Roberto Gualtieri, e dell'assessore al Patrimonio e alle Politiche abitative, Tobia Zevi, che hanno onorato l'evento con la loro visita. Durante il suo intervento, il sindaco ha sottolineato l'importanza del lavoro svolto dalla Fondazione e il suo impatto positivo sulla comunità.
È motivo di gioia per me vedere come il patrimonio di Roma Capitale, che è il patrimonio di tutti i cittadini, possa essere messo a servizio di tante esperienze belle e importanti. Quella della Fondazione Di Liegro significativa per la nostra città, non solo per la nostra storia, per quello che Luigi ha saputo darci, a partire naturalmente dai convegni sui Mali di Roma e da tutto il suo lavoro straordinario.
Ma poi per quello che voi qui fate oggi, davvero dimostrando che tutte le persone sono una risorsa, tutte le persone non solo hanno diritto di avere, ma possono dare tanto e rendere la città e la vita più belle.
Quindi grazie.

L'evento "SU LA MASCHERA: MUSICA IN PIAZZA!!!" del 20 maggio 2024 al Teatro De' Servi di Roma, ha segnato un trionfo per i nostri laboratori di Teatro e di Musica, guidati da Roberto Baldassari e Marco Soricetti. lo spettacolo ha registrato un tutto esaurito, riscuotendo un notevole successo di pubblico e risonanza sulla stampa. Un evento che ha evidenziato l'importanza dell'arte come strumento di inclusione ed espressione nel campo della salute mentale.

Here are some photos from the second meeting of art therapy laboratory organized by the Don Luigi Di Liegro Foundation in collaboration with the Ripetta Art Academy, which took place today in the heart of Villa Borghese.
The teachers of the Academy, accompanied by young students and volunteers from the Foundation, guided the participants on a cultural/educational and at the same time therapeutic journey, based on the union between art and nature.
Through the activity of life drawing, we reproduced and observed the surrounding environment in search of hidden monuments, ancient busts and the historic fountains of the Pincio, without ever losing the amazement that distinguishes those who are able to marvel.
Guiding today's path of the art therapy laboratory are the words of "This immense not knowing. Conversations with trees, animals and the human heart", Of Chandra Candiani, poet and translator:
"A good preliminary practice than any other is the practice of wonder. Practicing not knowing and wondering. Looking around and letting go of the concept of tree, road, house, sea and looking with a gaze that ignores what is known. Exercising wonder cures the sick heart of those who have only been able to exercise fear"
Wednesday 27 April, the Artistic Laboratory of the Di Liegro Foundation entitled "The nature of the body in public space". The project is in continuity with the workshop "Listening in nature", carried out last year.
The observation of Nature extends to squares and the various elements that make up public space. We will focus on the public art works located in the city and the transformations that they have taken on over time. The posture of the statues will be the starting point for observing our body in space, what we communicate with gestures and with our way of being in the world.
During the exploratory walks, sessions of life drawing, painting, writing, recording of the sounds of the city and our voice will alternate with the walks, with which we will compose a narrative made up of multiple expressive languages.
The laboratory "The nature of the body in public space" aims to be a real research space in which the participants, in addition to measuring themselves with the proposals, will be able to propose new experiments.

The artistic and socialization workshops of the Di Liegro Foundation
The last time the Brigands were pinched, the group formed by the participants of the music and therapy workshop, had performed on the stage of the Academic Hall of the Santa Cecilia Conservatory, it was Valentine's Day 2020. "A few days before, for all of us, the world changed", recalled the presenter of the evening, the journalist Gabriella Facondo.
Now, 22 months later, The Music That Changes Everything returns.
The concert therefore represented the way to re-tie that thread that has never been broken, because the Di Liegro Foundation, as well as the Santa Cecilia Conservatory, it never stopped. - added Gabriella Facondo - The protagonist is music, which almost always arrives before and further than the words. And, when it crosses us, it does so without ever leaving us identical to ourselves."
The evening at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory becomes an opportunity to remember that road that Father Luigi Di Liegro he courageously chose to walk.
In the Convert, Councilor of the Capitoline assembly, in reading the thanks of the mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri, and of the Capitoline Administration, recalled how the pandemic has "put us all to the test, and unfortunately continues to do so, making us more distant and alone and causing and fueling fragility".
But it was thanks to all those, like the Di Liegro Foundation, who instead of stopping, guaranteed listening, places of welcome and support for families and vulnerable people, "that our community managed to resist" a pandemic that has tried to bend it.
"It will be the task of the institutions not only to recognize your precious work but to commit to creating new tools to never leave anyone behind. Hard work awaits us - writes Mayor Gualtieri - which I am sure will not scare us: that of making Rome a city more inclusive and fair".
"Nurturing the sense of belonging to a community, strengthening ties, ensuring that no one is left behind have always been the tasks of the Di Liegro Foundation", stated the president father Sandro Barlone, during the evening. "The Briganti pizzicati concert represents an important stage, a moment in which we recognize the work done by many: families, operators and volunteers. In which we look with satisfaction - added the president of the Di Liegro Foundation - people who today regain moments of a social life from which, due to circumstances beyond their control, they have been marginalized. Now through music, a language that goes beyond, brings people together and brings them together. Like any form of communication - concluded Barlone - it expresses forms of closeness that otherwise we will not be able to live."
Lunedì 13 dicembre torneranno finalmente a esibirsi di fronte al pubblico, dopo la lunga pausa imposta dalla pandemia, “I Briganti pizzicati” (gruppo costituito dai partecipanti al Laboratorio di Musicoterapia della Fondazione Di Liegro) insieme alla Compagnia “Musica in cammino”. Nella serata, condotta dalla giornalista di TV 2000 Gabriella Facondo, si esibiranno sul palco anche i migliori studenti pianisti del Conservatorio “Santa Cecilia”.
Il concerto, che si svolgerà nella prestigiosa Sala Accademica di Via dei Greci, è promosso dalla Fondazione Internazionale Don Luigi Di Liegro Onlus and from Conservatorio Statale di Musica “Santa Cecilia.
Si tratta di un importante appuntamento per sostenere i Laboratori di Arteterapia, della Fondazione Di Liegro, a cui parteciperanno tra gli altri l’Assessore alla Sanità e per l’integrazione Sociosanitaria della Regione Lazio Alessio D’Amato, il Presidente del municipio Roma VIII Amedeo Ciaccheri l’attore Giulio Scarpati, rappresentanti di Istituzioni, del mondo dello spettacolo e del privato sociale.
“Sappiamo quanto le persone che soffrono di disturbi psichici abbiano avvertito con particolare gravità i devastanti effetti psicologici della pandemia. Sappiamo anche quanto il calore e l’affetto della comunità siano essenziali per la cura di se stessi e degli altri. - ha dichiarato Luigina Di Liegro Segretario generale della Fondazione – Questo concerto rappresenta un’occasione unica, nel giorno di S. Lucia che la tradizione vuole essere il più corto dell’anno, per accendere una luce, grazie alla Musica che tutto cambia, sulla Salute mentale e proseguire insieme nella battaglia contro lo stigma e per una reale inclusione sociale.”
La vera protagonista della serata (presentata dalla giornalista e conduttrice della trasmissione “Siamo noi” di Tv 2000, Gabriella Facondo) sarà la musica, in cui gli artisti si esibiranno in un repertorio che spazierà dai brani di musica tradizionale e popolare con l’energia dei I Briganti Pizzicati, a brani classici suonati con maestria e passione dai migliori studenti pianisti di “S. Cecilia”.
“Negli ultimi anni - come ricorda il Direttore del Conservatorio, M° Roberto Giuliani - il Conservatorio ha sempre più potenziato la parte di azione riguardante i rapporti tra musica e diverse abilità, non solo ampliando l’originale attenzione nei confronti di ipovedenti e non vedenti, ma attraverso progetti sperimentali, tra i quali quello per studenti Asperger ad alta funzionalità, fino alla esperienza del laboratorio per la stimulazione multisensoriale presso l’Ospedale “Bambin Gesù”.
L’evento è realizzato grazie al contributo di Banca Credito Cooperativo di Roma, dall'hotel Eremito di Parrano (TR) e dall'Ordine delle Professioni Infermieristiche di ROMA.

Il gruppo musicale formato dai partecipanti al Laboratorio della Fondazione Di Liegro torna a esibirsi lunedì 13 dicembre sul palco della Sala Accademica del Conservatorio di Roma, in un programma speciale dedicato al Natale.
A seguire, si esibiranno alcuni tra i migliori studenti del Conservatorio.
L'evento rappresenta un’occasione unica per tornare a stare insieme dopo quasi due anni e sostenere le attività of the Di Liegro Foundation.
La serata sarà condotta da una madrina d'eccezione, la giornalista, autrice e conduttrice radiotelevisiva, Gabriella Facondo, volto femminile della trasmissione TV2000 “Siamo Noi”.

The theater and art workshops were the protagonists of the recent meeting dedicated to the Summer Festival, the closing event of the 2020-2021 activities of the Di Liegro Foundation.
They have not been easy months, but despite the pandemic we managed to carry out the usual volunteering training course "Volunteers and families online for mental health" and to carry out the art-therapy and socialization workshops that have always characterized the action of the Foundation.
On the occasion of the greetings, it was possible to visit the art exhibition of the artistic-creative laboratory created in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome.

The video “Everything will be fine” was then screened, the show from our theater workshop. For once, thanks to the distancing rules, our users and volunteers performed in front of a camera, instead of live. Emotions and fun are still guaranteed, thanks to everyone's dedication in preparing the show. And to the help and inspiration of a truly special friend: the actor Giulio Scarpati, former actor in the TV series dedicated to Don Luigi Di Liegro, The man of charity.
