The event "Dialogue between Religions for Mercy" organized by our foundation in collaboration with the Lazio Region will be held on Monday 24 October at 9.30 am at the Abbey of Montecassino.
In Italy for many years the religious scenario has been enriched with the development of non-Christian religions: the religions of the world have arrived in our country due to the various changes induced by globalization and above all because we welcome, albeit with many critical issues, increasingly larger shares of immigrants and refugees who come from many parts of the world. This new reality should stimulate us to pay more attention to the different religions present in our cities, both those that have arrived recently and those that have been an integral part of our history and culture for many centuries.
From this perspective, important exponents of religious communities, teachers from prestigious university institutes meet for a constructive discussion, for an analysis of the Italian experience in terms of Dialogue between Religions, highlighting the actions promoted and implemented for a real education to dialogue At what point are we in this very tiring process which, through a journey into differences and above all into ourselves, allows us to really "look" and "listen" to the other.
