According to statute, the Father Luigi Di Liegro International Foundation onlus was established under the guidance of prof. Giovanni B. Conso on 21 June 1999, to keep the memory and thoughts of Don Luigi alive, through the carrying out of social activities aimed at promoting and protecting respect for the dignity of the person and the duty of solidarity and civic participation.
The Father Luigi Di Liegro International Foundation (FDL) is fully committed to safeguarding the well-being of all children entrusted to its care. Recognizes the responsibility to promote safe practices and to protect children from harm, abuse and exploitation. For the purposes of this policy and associated procedures a child is recognized as a person under the age of 18. Staff and volunteers will work together to embrace difference and diversity and respect the rights of children and young people. This document (Child Safeguarding Policy) outlines FDL's commitment to protecting children.
