The Art Therapy Workshops scheduled for 2015 I am: Theatre, Photography, Kitchen And Music.
These are activities that the Foundation proposes as tools for counteract isolation and relational difficulties and enhance personal skills and interests. The objective is to support the rehabilitation projects of individual users through activities that lead to the recovery of people's relational skills, introducing social support activities which, in collaboration with the healthcare activities of local services, build a rehabilitation path.
Assuming that each has its own resources and self-regenerative potential which simply needs to be stimulated, Art Therapy performs this function and allows us to believe and be confident in the abilities that we all possess.
Thus, Art Therapy, with its techniques and materials, promotes knowledge of oneself and one's potential.
There are many daily situations in which people feel a feeling of "crisis", of difficulty and the need to re-establish balance with themselves and with the outside world (grief, separations, failures, etc.). Art therapy can help these people to contact, express and process their emotions, face their conflicts and regain self-confidence. It has been shown that when a person is immersed in a creative activity he receives a series of stimuli on a physical, intellectual and emotional level which lead to organic and psychological changes which favor healing processes.
The laboratories, integrated type , are aimed at people going through a period of mental distress and led by art masters. Specially trained volunteers are present to support the activities.
Alongside the workshops, further recreational and socialization activities of a cultural nature are planned, which aim to encourage the integration of participants into the social fabric they belong to, allow a process of socialization in the circuit of people outside the family, stimulate their autonomy, create relationships friends and promote knowledge of the area. The activities we will propose will be: visits to exhibitions, archaeological sites also in the immediate vicinity of Rome, participation in theatrical performances.
